Celebrating Transformation: In Lives, Our Church, and Our City
Salvation Is Through Jesus Alone
“Salvation is through Jesus alone” is one of our ten message points at The Father’s House. It is more than a statement we agree with; it is the central truth of the Gospel.
If we truly believe that Jesus came to earth, gave His life on the cross, and made a way for us to be reconciled to God, then that belief should shape the way we live. We are not called simply to agree with the truth. We are called to believe it and allow it to transform us.
Philippians 2:12–13 tells us to “work out” our salvation with fear and trembling, knowing that it is God who is at work in us, giving us both the desire and the ability to do His will.
So what does salvation through Jesus alone look like in the way we live?
• We obey Jesus, even when it costs us.
• We stop trying to earn what Jesus has already given us. We serve from grace, not for grace.
• We allow Jesus to change the way we treat people. We forgive, love, serve, and extend grace.
• We surrender every area of our lives to Him. Our relationships, finances, choices, time, and private lives belong to Him.
• We live with urgency for others to know Jesus. If He truly is the way to salvation, we cannot keep the Good News to ourselves.
We don’t work for salvation; we work out the salvation Jesus has already given us, until the reality of what He has done in us is evident in the way we live.

I Thought I Was Unworthy. Jesus Said Otherwise.
Q: What was your life like before you truly surrendered your life to Jesus, and what were you searching for or struggling with?
Before I surrendered my life to Jesus, I lived in fear and unforgiveness. I had carried secrets since I was five years old, and for much of my life, I felt unworthy of His love. I was carrying things I had hidden for 55 years, and I didn’t know how to let them go.
Q: Can you tell us about the moment or season when you encountered Jesus and knew you wanted to follow Him? What did He change in you?
In 2020, during COVID, I went to church at the Father’s House Acres. As I sat there, I could feel something pulling me to go forward. I knew I wanted to give my life to Jesus. That day, I prayed and accepted Jesus to take over my life.
The next few years felt like a blur. I was in and out of church, still struggling to believe that I was worthy of His love. Then what I had been hiding for 55 years was finally brought into the light. As I faced it and surrendered it to God, the weight began to lift.
Q:Since giving your life to Jesus, what is different about the way you live, think, or see God and yourself, and why did you choose to be baptized now?
There was still sin standing in my way, and I didn’t feel like I could be baptized until that was taken care of. But God has been faithful through the process. Today, I can truly say, I am worthy of being His daughter. I am loved.
I’ve started tithing, I’m learning to walk in freedom, and I see myself differently because of what Jesus has done in me. Today, I can say that I have been baptized, not because I have everything figured out, but because I belong to Him.

From A Gym In Oroville To Churches In Nepal
When you work out at the Lord’s Gym, purchase a membership, encourage someone else to sign up, or volunteer your time, you are doing more than supporting a gym. You are investing in the transformation of our city and making an impact around the world.
The Lord’s Gym helps create opportunities for local outreach in Oroville, but your support also reaches beyond our city. One of the ministries we support each month is church planting in Nepal. Through this partnership, we have been able to support seven church plants. The financial support we send helps equip local leaders and gives them the ability to travel throughout their communities, reaching people and strengthening the churches being planted.
This month, one of our pastors will be traveling to Nepal to see these church plants firsthand, meet with the leaders, and discover practical ways we can continue to support what God is doing there.
This is what makes the Lord’s Gym so much more than a place to work out. Every membership, every volunteer hour, every person you invite, and every dollar spent can become part of reaching people with the Gospel.
Please be praying for our pastors as they travel, and keep supporting the Lord’s Gym. What happens there is reaching much farther than Oroville.
