Celebrating Transformation: In Lives, Our Church, and Our City
Salvation Is Through Jesus Alone... But Is It Once Saved, Always Saved?
Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. Jesus declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6), and history, Scripture, and the resurrection all testify to the truth of His words. There is no other name by which we are saved.
Yet one of the greatest misunderstandings in the Church today is treating salvation as a single moment instead of a lifelong journey. We often celebrate what we've been saved from - sin, guilt, and separation from God - but forget to pursue what we've been saved to: becoming more like Christ and walking faithfully with Him until the end.
When we reduce salvation to a one-time decision with no call to continue following Jesus, spiritual growth can stall. Complacency begins to replace hunger, and over time, hearts can drift. Scripture consistently calls believers to remain steadfast, endure, and continue in the faith.
Paul compares the Christian life to a race: "Run in such a way that you may obtain the prize" (1 Corinthians 9:24). A race requires perseverance, discipline, and a determination to keep going when the finish line isn't yet in sight. Imagine receiving the trophy before the race even began. How many of us would still train with the same passion? Or being paid before doing the work- our human nature would be tempted to settle.
Jesus Himself gives us the perspective we need: "The one who endures to the end will be saved" (Matthew 24:13). Following Jesus isn't about how we begin, it is about remaining faithful to Him all the way to the finish. May we never stop running the race He has set before us.

Youth Pismo Mission Trip 2026
Our youth recently returned from an incredible five days in Pismo Beach, where they had the opportunity to serve alongside local churches and ministries. Our heart was to give them a chance to live out 1 Timothy 4:12 and discover that God wants to use them now, not someday.
Throughout the week, they served in practical ways by doing yard work, cleaning, preparing for children's VBS, serving at a soup kitchen, and sharing the love of Jesus through prayer and evangelism. It was encouraging to watch them step outside of their comfort zones and serve.
Church family, let's continue to call our young people higher. Let's encourage them, challenge them, and give them opportunities to grow in their faith. They don't need to wait until they're older to make a difference. God is already at work in their lives, and it's our privilege to help them keep saying "yes" to Him.
To our youth, thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your hearts to serve. My prayer is that this wasn't just a great week away, but another step in becoming the men and women God has created you to be. We're proud of you.

Shelly’s Story: Never Too Late to Fall More in Love with Jesus
Q: Looking back, how has your life been transformed through Levels 1 & 2?
School of Transformation has changed the way I see Jesus, myself, and the life He has called me to live. Through studying the Gospels, I have been able to move from simply knowing about Jesus to truly knowing Him. I have discovered more about His character, His heart for me, and my identity in Him. The teachings, relationships, and daily opportunities to serve have challenged me to grow in my faith and walk out what I am learning.
Q: Was there a moment or lesson that challenged you the most? What did God do through it?
The beginning of Level 1 was challenging as I adjusted to a new schedule, daily classwork, homework, serving opportunities, and traveling each day. It was a lot to take on, but God used that season to stretch me and remind me that growth often happens outside of our comfort zones. Through my classmates, instructors, and what I was learning each day, I experienced God's faithfulness and saw Him continue to transform my heart.
Q: If someone was on the fence about joining Full-Time SOT, what would you want them to know?
Take the step! You are never too old to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus. I am graduating at 64 years old, and I can honestly say this has been one of the greatest investments I have made in my life. SOT has helped me discover who Jesus says I am and taught me how to live the life He created me for.

Friday Night Fire: Taking the Gospel to the Streets
Every Friday night, a team from The Father’s House is stepping out to make Jesus known in Oroville. Friday Night Fire is a ministry built on the belief that the Gospel is powerful, and when we go out, we are expecting Jesus to move.
Our prayer is that as we share the Gospel:
Souls would be saved
The sick would be healed
The oppressed would be set free
Addictions would be broken
People would encounter the hope and love of Jesus
We believe the Gospel still changes lives, and we are going out with the confidence that Jesus desires to bring salvation, healing, and freedom to our city. It has already been incredible to see stories emerge of people encountering the message of Jesus and having their hearts stirred by His love.
