Homeless Outreach
Mondays 1-3 PM
We get to be Jesus to the world around us, which means loving and serving those right in front of us. Many people live in homelessness throughout Oroville, and we believe that love looks like stopping our busy lives to build relationships with these neighbors.
Every Monday, you can be part of a team that goes out to serve the homeless community, bringing food, company, and the gospel to people in homelessness.

Oroville Rescue Mission
First Thursday 6-7 PM
We love partnering with our community! On the first Thursday of the month, we take a team to the Oroville Rescue Mission. We join them for a service led by our team, with worship, a message, and ministry time.
If you would like to join us, meet us at the Father's House Church on the first Thursday of the month at 5:50 PM so that we can pray before we go. For more information, contact Miruna Veenhuis.
Food Bank
Fridays 1-2 PM
1 in 5 children in Butte County experience food insecurity, which means they don't have consistent access to a sufficient quantity of nutritious food. Studies show that food insecurity hinders school performance and can lead to increased health issues for children as they grow up.
The French Family Food Bank is a distribution center that provides food to families in need each week so that no child has to go without. Since 2006, the French Family Food Bank has been feeding over a thousand people a month.
Every Friday, our Mount of Olives Food Bank, supplied with food from the French Family Food Bank, provides boxes of food to families and individuals in need.
We would love to have you join us at the Mount of Olives Food Bank as we love our neighbors in this way. If you'd like to help out with our Friday food bank, meet at the back entrance of the Father's House Church at 12:45 PM!
