Lights of Hope is a community-wide event held at Father's House Acres in Oroville. The event includes a FREE 1/3 Mile Christmas-themed light walk with over 300,000 lights, a sledding hill, skating, a scavenger hunt, and other family activities. The event runs for 18 nights during the month of December.
Lights of Hope is a family-oriented event. We put on Lights of Hope to bring joy and to create community within Butte county. There is no cost for the light walk because we want to give everyone an equal opportunity to experience the wonder of Christmas, regardless of their financial status. All proceeds from this event are put toward future Father's House Church community outreaches and missions.
