Food Distribution Center
French Family Foodbank
3556 Oro Bangor Highway
Oroville, CA 95966
The French Family Food Bank is a 10,000 square foot food distribution center located in Oroville, CA. The Food bank includes a walk-in freezer and refrigerator space in order to store perishable goods, as well as ample storage space for shelf-stable foods. Our goal is to distribute food to other foodbanks in the region and provide their users with a healthy and balanced diet.
What We Do
The French Family Food Bank has provided food to over a thousand people a month since we started in 2006. The food we distribute includes fresh produce, bread, meat, dairy, snacks, canned food, and desserts. Boxes of food can be picked up each Friday from the Mount of Olives Food Bank.
Why We Do It
Hunger is on the rise in Northern California, especially in Butte County. Studies have shown that 1 in 5 children experience food insecurity. We provide food to families in need on a weekly basis so that no one has to go without.
